Pinto上一部最遠的距離太厲害，導致對這部心理驚悚片有點小小失望。一種拉美文學的敘事風格被套用在一部西班牙驚悚電影裡，無需要抽絲剝繭，真相隨時間流逝而逐被公開。家庭與創傷是電影的命題，Pinto以一種泰然自若的形式，將故事搬演至Canary Island，配上攝影精美的冷感裝幀，企圖引領觀眾步向現實，可惜當真相揭露時，導演看不到觀眾失望的表情。
