本片1979年引进中国大陆，当时以“墨西哥电影周”形式在全国正式公映。共有三部作品：《叶塞尼娅》、《冷酷的心》、《***》。三部影片均为当时轰动的译制配音经典。但奇怪的是，前两部作品如今影响力很大，现在网上到处都能找到。唯独《***》几乎无人提及了！本片与《冷酷的心》都是导演戴维森的作品，应当也是很经典的！
